ABOUT ME
Who am I?
- My name is Magdi Biri. I was born in Nagyvárad and lived there for twenty-two years. In 2000, the desire for adventure brought me to Budapest.... Well, this is not just any story, but it would be long. :)
I am the mother of two teenage boys and, last but not least, I am eternally young myself. In my life, I have liked to approach things differently than they were intended to be. The eternal restlessness has driven me and still drives me now, to experience, create, create something that I find joy in, and thereby gain a sense of success. One such experience was my constant drawing, which took me to the High School of Fine Arts in Oradea, where I graduated with a degree in graphics.
I studied fashion and style design in Budapest, designed unique clothes, sewed for alternative stores and fulfilled custom orders. Since 2014, I have been designing jewelry.
What is my goal?
- Jewelry design and making was never my desire, but “coincidence” brought it this way. This is where I truly found myself, where I can express my creativity while also giving to other women. My jewelry is made in the spirit of sustainability - from textile and leather cutting scraps using the origami technique, and I also make special cord jewelry.
I design for women who have found or are still searching for their own style. Those who like to show their uniqueness, extravagance, sophisticated style, sensitivity, or even restraint, creativity, who are open to unusual things and can still remain true to themselves.
